Thank God for bringing us into this new month and the beginning of a new quarter for the year. The Lord’s faithfulness is beyond doubt, hence, He is worthy of our praise!

Despite the contrary wind that seems to be blowing across our world presently, we must keep knowing that our God is the Lord God in every situation. If you are a Christian, the Lord would have you to learn from what has befallen our world, that the world is never a permanent home for all humans.

If you are not yet a Christian, may the happenings around the entire world became an avenue for your heart to be drawn permanently to the Lord’
We must do all we can to maximize whatever period of grace that remains because the coming of the Lord is nearer us than before. Do not panic but rest in the Lord. Use the lockdown period for meditation and to draw much more closer to the Lord. The world system would never have agreed to give almost every one of us fourteen days or more for leave at the same time, but the wind of coronavirus has given us such liberty which we can utilise for good both for ourselves and for the advancement of the kingdom of our God.

“Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer.” (Isa 26:20-21 NIV)

GLEANINGS, for this month, continues with the matter of being made for a purpose. To be filled is one thing, but to reach the point of being drawn out to serve the purpose for our being filled in the first place is what we must never cease to hold God’s hand in prayer until He takes us there.
