NCTS-2018 – Closing Charge

National Christian Teachers Summit, 2018.

Day 3 – 4th August 2018

Closing Charge

John 4:35; John 9:4; Matt 20:6-7

Lift Up Your Eyes

Joh 4:35  Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

It is time to lift up your eyes, oh teacher. Lift up your eyes and see the future of the children. Don’t look at what they are now, trust God to see their future. Look into God and discover what their future looks like. Don’t look down on the students you see today. They may be ignorant, sluggish and unlikely today but if only you look up and look ahead, you will see something more!

Do The Work

Joh 9:4  I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

As teachers whatever opportunity we have must be to push the kingdom of God. Do the work that the Lord has committed unto your hands. It’s time to rise and do the work. Don’t be lazy, don’t be quiet or sluggish, do the work. Go into this vineyard and let no one hear you say “There is nothing I can do”. Go and work in this vineyard. God has called you, do your best. God has appointed you, go and do the work.

You Will Receive What Is Right

Mat 20:7  They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

Go you also into the vineyard and you will receive what is right. Others may forget what labor you’re doing. Parents may discountenance you, other teachers may discourage you, even the administration may not recognize what you’re doing, but God will give you what is right. God will make sure it is rewarded.
