When He Comes . . . Believe!

“And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:26 NKJV:

Do you believe this? This settles my own fear of continuity. If there is life, it will not quench again. The Resurrection is here, the Life is here. The constant supplier and restorer, the One that keeps a man fresh continually, is here. The death of our spiritual experience, the cutting off of a continuous walk with God in a close communion is hereby outlawed. If we lose not the abiding position in Him as the branch, the life will ever flow. This is life! It is not just revival, it is life, steady, stable and steadfast. It is life every day, life every time, life everywhere, life eternal, life abiding, life abounding and life abundant.

“Believest thou this?

Martha was shouting; “Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days”. You may have such reasons behind your unbelief. You may be counting days, weeks, months and years since your dead situation began; you may be measuring the level of decay and decomposition. You may be bothered about the stinking and the foul smell.

But hear what Jesus said to her and I believe to you as well:

“Did I not say to you that if you would believe, you would see the glory of God?”

I told you before and I am telling you now and again . . . Do you believe this? Do not let unbelief lock you out of life and resurrection! Do not let it keep you bound with the grave clothes. Do not allow unbelief to cripple you and keep you with another empty exposition. Rise up and believe this, otherwise, you have not believed yet. You may wish to join the father of the epileptic boy in his cry.
